Pure Photography

Cone 2009

(Just something from last semester)

Its has come to my realization that with my work that I am interested in Photography. Initially I thought this sounded rather silly as it was nothing specialist and somewhat obvious as I have being studying Photography for the last seven years now. However thinking about this and what we understand photography can be and what it can do I find to be incredibly exciting.

So from this point the centre of my research will be about Photography. So lots of theory texts to read, lots of photo magazines I shall be looking at as well as any talks or articles written.

Research Methods for Practice

This new blog is apart of my new and current Research Project for my MFA in Photography. As apart of this process the documentation of my research processes. In this unit Anna has encouraged us to diversify our research and expand the methods we use in our understanding of our work. In English to those not aware of this MFA in photography, this is workbook personified.

So in this blog I am to document all practical processes that I am doing through in my work, all books that I am reading or trying to read at the moment, all events exhibitions and so forth that I go to ... you get the picture.

The title of this blog comes from the centre point of my practice in what I am interested in. This being Photography itself.
